so what about SXess?
It’s just a set of plates on a car. Granted, a little cheeky, but why not have a little fun, put a smile on a face or 3?
And why SXess? The car the plates are on is a Nissan 200SX (as Nissan Australia refers to it). In Japan, it’s referred to as an S15 Silvia. I call it the S15, as do most Australian owners of this model 200SX. The previous model 200SX to the S15, was the S14, and the Silvia before that was the Nissan S13. The “S” series Nissans also include the 180SX, and then theres the mix n match chopped cars which combine front and rears of the 180SX and the Silvia to produce Onevias (180/Silvia cross) and Sileighty’s (Silvia/180 cross).
So, back to the plates…
my car is a female 200SX, as in lioness, I have an SX/ESS.
SXess can also be interpreted as an “S” series Nissan – to excess (S/XESS), or, and by pure coincidence, it also could read “success”, but what success is there in owning a car? meh.. hardly relevant.
The funny thing is, when I’ve pulled up at the lights behind another car, and they look in their rear vision mirror.. all they see is SSEXS, and we all know how one tracked some peoples minds can be… hence the cheeky.
It’s all fun, makes an afternoon drive just that little bit more entertaining… usually 🙂
