Fence render repair

Another bodgy repair on the fence. A corner had been damaged at some point and the previous owner filled it with, I’m guessing, No More Gaps, the universal repair kit in a tube (*insert sarcastic tone). Doesn’t match render but slap some paint over it and the new owner wont notice… pffft. Anyway, let’s fix it properly.

Remove the white No More Gaps, just dig it all out with a sharp knife or scraper. Dampen the brick and then apply proper render filler, that looks like render when it’s dry, what a brilliant idea. One more application of render filler to get it just right, then the front fence will be repainted with all of the other Drifting Drab (chocolate) bits.
